About this opportunity
At Aristotle Technologies, we’re on a mission to transform the way people enhance their cognitive skills. We’re known for our personalized and data-driven cognitive training software, but we’re not stopping there. Currently, all cognitive tasks within our software rely solely on visuals, requiring users to focus on a screen during their training sessions. We’re eager to expand our offerings by introducing auditory elements and enriching the existing visual cognitive tasks with audio components. Our aim is to provide a more immersive and comprehensive cognitive training experience for our users.
How would this work?
There are many options for using audio in combination with cognitive tasks. We can begin by implementing auditory working memory, a concept widely recognized for remembering and manipulating auditory information, particularly number sequences. However, what if we extend this technique to various other cognitive tasks? we’re intrigued by the idea of introducing auditory elements that can reshape the way we approach visual tasks. For instance, what happens when we incorporate audio noise alongside visual tasks? The combination between auditory and visual inputs holds the potential to enhance cognitive processing in unique ways.
Your role
Your role in this project is to delve into the research and explore how the addition or substitution of audio elements can genuinely enhance our cognitive training methods. This may involve investigating scientifically backed approaches that have already demonstrated positive outcomes in cognitive training. Additionally, you should keep an eye out for promising applications or techniques that may not be well-documented in the scientific literature but show potential for enhancing our training methods. Your research should aim to provide insights into the most effective and efficient ways to integrate audio components into our cognitive training software.
